Learnovo Digital Academy (operated by Ceped Technologies Limited) is a Nigerian digital skills training platform located in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria. We operate the website at learnovo.ng and related subdomains including kids.learnovo.ng.

  • Profile photo (optional)
  • Educational background (for SIWES/IT placement applications)

  • Communications you send us via email, WhatsApp, or contact forms

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website or use our platform, we automatically collect:

  • IP address and approximate location (country/city level only)

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for their own marketing purposes. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

5.1 Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party companies that help us run our platform. These companies are contractually bound to process your data only on our instructions and to keep it secure. These include:

  • Google (Google Meet, Google Workspace) โ€” for mentorship sessions and email
  • TutorLMS / WooCommerce โ€” course delivery and e-commerce
  • Meta Pixel / Google Analytics โ€” website analytics (you can opt out)
  • WhatsApp Business โ€” for customer support communication

5.2 Educational Institutions

For students on SIWES or IT placement programmes, we may share relevant documentation and basic student details with your institution's SIWES coordinator or ITF-appointed supervisor as required for the placement process.

5.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or a Nigerian regulatory authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Learnovo, our students, or the public.

5.4 Business Transfers

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or a prominent notice on our website if this occurs.

We never sell your data. Your personal information is yours โ€” we treat it with the same care we would want our own data to be treated.

  • Payment records โ€” retained for 7 years as required by Nigerian financial regulations
  • SIWES/placement records โ€” retained for 5 years to support institutional verification requests
  • Marketing data โ€” retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent
  • Support communications โ€” retained for 2 years after resolution

When your data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it so it can no longer be linked to you.

Children's Privacy

Learnovo's main platform is intended for users aged 18 and above. Our Learnovo Kids programme is designed for children aged 7โ€“17 and operates under a separate privacy framework with additional protections:

  • All registrations for Learnovo Kids must be completed by a parent or legal guardian
  • We collect only the minimum information necessary to deliver the kids programme
  • Children's data is never used for marketing or profiling purposes
  • Parents may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's data at any time
  • We do not knowingly collect data from children under 7 years of age
  • Children's sessions are supervised and conducted in a safe online environment

If you believe a child has registered on our main platform without parental consent, please contact us immediately at privacy@learnovo.ng and we will promptly investigate and take action.
